It's not as simple as "my 12 favorite GPK cards that weren't in Funko series 1 or 2", since there's more to a GPK card than just the kid. For instance, Toady Terry is my favorite GPK, but mostly because of the background art and deep colors. I wouldn't want Toady Terry the frog kid as a Funko mini. I feel the same way about Nasty Nick. The Funko mini is just a vampire. You can't even tell it's a Garbage Pail Kid (they should have put him in his card pose and included the doll). I am going to think about this quickly and post my list of 12. |

This represents the full list of unused GPKs that I would be interested in seeing as Funko minis. The rest either are too dependent on their card backgrounds and/or other non-kid elements within the cards, would dillute the collection, or otherwise wouldn't work as Funko minis (in my opinion). Fryin' Brian (OS1) - in electric chair Potty Scotty (OS1) - in toilet, with scrubber and soap accessories Double Heather (OS2) Sewer Sue (OS2) Tattoo Lou (OS2) Galloping Glen (OS3) - with oats bag accessory Hot Head Harvey (OS3) Fred Thread (OS5) Toothy Ruthie (OS5) Monte Zuma (OS6) Hector Collector (OS6) Barfin' Barbara (OS7) - with spoon and pot accessories Explorin' Norman (OS8) Heartless Hal (OS8) - with bow and heart/arrow accessories Leather Heather (OS8) Page Cage (OS8) Scalped Ralph (OS9) - with razor accessory Of course there are plenty of other GPKs that I love *in card form*, so please feel free to disagree with my list. |

Some great choices there, and a few that I was thinking about, toothy Ruthie Tattoo Lou, and double heather would be awesome, I agree backgrounds on most cards are very important, so I went for characters that would work in mystery mini form, what do you think the chances are of there being a series 3 ? And also the funko pops what are people's opinions on them ? I like them a lot but I'm hoping that future releases won't just be the same gpks from the mystery minis, yep agree about nasty nick, not having his doll really bugs me, so I made a custom one to stick in his hand,

Michael Mutant and Varicose Wayne from your list would also be good, but I left Michael off my list because there is already a Beasty Boyd which I thought was too similar. I left Wayne off because he's OS10 and I'm a hateful bastard when it comes to the post-lawsuit series. I'm not sure if a series 3 will be released. Series 1 was released in 2015, and series 2 in 2016. So they might be finished, since it's been a couple years since then. Also, they released a set of "Pop!" GPK toys this year, so it seems like they have shifted gears. We can always hold out hope though. Add it to the hope list along with Chrome series 3. Then go to your local pub, get drunk and have yourself a good cry. |

I actually have an Engstrom sketch of Ike Spike that is one of the prizes of my collection (hat tip to Stinger for selling it to me). |
