hey guys!
some of you may remember a special version of the fans favorite explorin norman that I did couple of years ago, it was his Israeli version with a twist of him coming out of Israel's coat of arms and having a "tembel" hat on the finger that comes out of his head (the tembel hat is a hat that was commonly used in Israel up to the 70's).
last year, I took that same design I made and replaced his name in the lower banner with the writing "atzmaut sameach!" which means in Hebrew "Happy independence day!". I printed 25 units of that sticker and gave some of them to kids on the street on the eve of Israel's 69th independence day and some of them were sent abroad (there's even one of them on ebay at the moment...). I had so much fun recreating this character (I drew him from scratch with illustrator and photoshop) and the best part of that recreation was adding those Israeli symbols to him.

last week while talking to a buddy of mine on that card, he suggested I'll do a Japanese version of him. I thought about it and as much I could realise - although Explorin Norman appeared on the wrappers of both the classic and the new Bukimi and also on the cover of the classic album, he actually never got his own sticker.
I liked the idea and started working on ideas to his Japanese sticker illustration, while working on that illustration, I had another Idea that eventually hit the spot.
I decided on doing Explorin Norman's world tour stickers illustrations - in each illustration our pal Norman would visit a different country and will have some distinctive symbols of that country his visiting in the form of the top of his finger, his t-shirt and the background behind him. his name and the top banner would vary also in according to where he is visiting but not always as the official GPK foreign banners.
so here's were Norman "was" up to now:

what do you say? you got any idea's of where should he go next?
