You and my wife should get together and go bowling. She says the same thing. Only wish she was talking about gpk! And by "bowling" you mean...?? You've been watching too much pornhub haha Was referencing the breakfast club, but I see I set myself for that one Lol

Well I lowered the price another $155! Now it's at the same price Lavar Ball has his Big Baller Shoes at, $495. So if Lavar can get 500 people nation wide to cough up $495 for those shoes, why can't I get one person to cough up $495 or best offer for my defect/error card?

I have an Adam Bomb with a pretty nasty gum stain on the back. If you want to do a test we can both put ours up for auction starting at a penny and see which one sells for more.

How sad has the GPK hobby become when the most interesting thread includes someone trying to sell a beat-ass Adam Bomb card.

How sad has the GPK hobby become when the most interesting thread includes someone trying to sell a beat-ass Adam Bomb card. What I think you mean is someone unearthing a hidden grail potentially worth hundreds or thousands. I think you might be downplaying it on purpose so you can swoop in with a way low baller bid of 550$ when you know its worth way more. Sounds like your MO.

Hell I wish more than anybody that card was worth $350. With that sliding scale my collection would be worth millions.

OK, it's $275. My biggest problem with the card is the defect error is so rare that people don't count it as a legitimate error like a red circle error defect that you see sell for a ton of money. I would have been better off it it was a red circle printing error to be honest with you.

OK, I lowered the card down to $200 OBO. So it's definitely at a more reasonable price, than originally.

I'm surprised no one suggested spending $18 to have the card authenticated. PSA says they examine cards for doctoring, so wouldn't they be able to confirm or refute the owner's assertion that this is a one-of-a-kind error?

I have been on Ebay for over 17 years now, and have worked hard to build it up to the rating I have now. So hopefully I can be seen as trustworthy after all these years. Also, I am not too sure PSA even knows about an error like this given how rare it comes up. OK, on to the card price. It's at $125. Yeah, I screwed up going to high on it originally, and I am sure some people out there think $125 is way too high. It might be, but don't worry it won't stay at $125 for too long if not picked up.

You seem to still be lost in the sauce about this so let me break it down kindergarten style for you. I know I don't have the right terms but hopefully this gets the point across. There are printing errors and physical errors, for lack of better terms. So printing errors you have the swirls, no numbers, things like that. Mass produced errors where something wrong is printed, or missed getting printed on the card. These are very valuable and worth much more compared to the original card. Then you have a physical error. Mis cuts, double die cuts, cards stuck together. These are for the most part trash and worth much less than the original card. Your Adam bomb is worth even less than the regular mis cut and double die cuts since I can recreate the error you have in about 30 seconds by just sticking the bottom of one card to the top of another. BOOM! Error. That's essentially what happened, whether you did it or it happened at the factory 30 years ago, same exact error and same result. Thats why its not worth anything, certainly not 900$. The more you know...........

Well die cut errors do go for a certain amount of money. This Hot Head Harvey with for $42. www.ebay.com/itm/GARBAGE-PAIL-KIDS-SERIES-3-87a-Hot-Head-Harvey-DIECUT-ERROR-NMINT-/222485897083?hash=item33cd315f7b:g:pPwAAOSwJ4hY~QpNSo there is a market for die cut errors. Also, this is something many collecting communities have trouble understanding. To Each Their Own. Just because you don't find any value in it, doesn't mean the next guy doesn't find value in it. This OUR way is the only right way of thinking is a circle the wagons around a certain type of thought. Yes, I get you, and I get others don't see value in this, but to think EVERYONE else doesn't see value in it as well is a state of hubris. You might very well be right, but let time tell the final outcome.

Like I said before people have paid way more money for dumber s**t and nobody wants that card to be worth $900 more than me. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I probably won't be. Considering you have taken the value you set on it initially down almost 90% from the original listing price I'm at least 90% right from your initial post. Also like I said this particular error is comically easy to reproduce, unlike a mis cut. Best of luck though, whatever happens its a good discussion either way.

If I were you, I would relist it at $125 or best offer. I'm sure most people saw it at the original listing price and figured it was over-priced, and then moved on. Now it's more reasonable so you might get someone who will offer $50-100. Like most people here, I don't think it's worth that much, but I do agree with you that there are plenty of people that put high (strange?) values on things others don't. I've seen people bid on cards with those random circles, that to me, and most others, are worth exactly the same (or less) than the regular card.

OK, I decided to take your advice, and I am relisting it to $95. $95 just looks better than $125 anyways. I hope this generates some action. Thanks for the advice.

Here is one other point to consider. Those other auctions you listed might have ended high because the seller bid it up from an additional account they had to mark it up. We have no idea if the auction was paid and delivered.
Not saying this happened, but food for thought.
