Two questions
1. What does a buff monster original go for? I've been to his website 2-3 times. There was a spot for original artwork but the times I went there were no originals for sale.
2. THE OS8 is sold? I don't see it pictured above.

THE OS8 is sold? I don't see it pictured above. This is a series 1 Melty Misfits, so it might have a little premium there since no series 1 pieces remain for sale as far as I know, but Buff originally sold those pieces (series 1 & 2) for $1500 each painting. I think they're 5X7, just like original series GPK artwork. Believe it or not, but $1500 is a good deal when it comes to buying Buff Monster's original art. His other stuff retails for many thousands of dollars. His work is fantastic though, extremely clean lines and vibrant colors...flawless stuff.

Same here I really don't get the whole ice cream infatuation thingy with some taking GPK concepts in hand. Maybe the artist just loves his ice cream?

Yes, he loves ice cream and pink. He's a highly regarded street artist, very prolific. His stuff is crazy expensive. He's very heavily collected himself and does a lot of big time gigs for all sorts of companies, bands, etc. he was in Banksy's documentary, so he's pretty well known and a highly regarded artist. He's a huge GPK fan and art collector himself and cites GPK as one of his inspirations. Check out his site, he pushes himself hard to put out a lot of cool products, and like Mark Newgarden and Art Spiegelman insisted for GPK, his quality control of the art he produces is very high.
