I don't know what it is but I've been playing Destiny pretty much non-stop since September 9th. It's a good game but it's not worth the amount of time I've spent on it.  I'm in with close to 450 hours of playtime. Basically, I come home spend time with the family then after they go to bed I'm online grinding away, hahah. I've pretty much neglected all forms of other media just to focus on this one thing.  Any of you ever get addicted to a videogame before? Maybe Everquest or WoW? Maybe even Diablo... |

I was that way with a few until my son was born: both Baldur's Gates, borderlands (first not the identical second), Skyrim and a few others. Hubbie had a few too, Metal Gear, Fallout, team fortress 2 until the hackers took over and everyone left...

FInal Fantasy XI, Mass Effect Series, Skyrim, Dragon Age Series... And the oldies like The Legend of Zelda / Adventures of Link, Metroid, etc etc...

I was that way with a few until my son was born: both Baldur's Gates, borderlands (first not the identical second), Skyrim and a few others. Hubbie had a few too, Metal Gear, Fallout, team fortress 2 until the hackers took over and everyone left... That's cool. Typically games like Metal Gear and Fallout are games I play until completion and then move on. I can definitely see a time sink in Baldur's Game and Team Fortress 2. I adored Borderlands 1. I wouldn't say I was addicted to it but I did play it for at least 100 hours. I only did one class (Lilith) and half of another (Brick). Borderlands 2 was good at first, then Gearbox started messing the with game. Nerfing equipment, buffing enemies but never fixing glitches with the game. |

Love the Water Temple, probably in the minority on that one, but hey listen (*Navi's voice), you get to see Dark Link! on to the Shadow Temple. The 3DS really made the water temple less cumbersome. They assigned the boots as a hotkey item instead of a piece of gear. switching was super easy. |

My friend and I have been playing GTA V Online for PS3 lately, usually only once a week but I think about playing it almost everyday. Unfortunately other stuff in my life interferes with me playing it more. Job, wife & my son are the major reasons.

Yes I have. Not to the point of 24 hour marathons but have had several 10 hour gaming sessions. Fallout 3 is one of the most recent games that I was addicted to. I did everything possible in that game in just a weeks time. EVERYTHING. Lately I have been playing Dark Souls 2 on PS4 and State of Decay on Xbox One. My gaming backlog is so long currently because I just don't have the time anymore.

I had to get the remastered version on PS4. Totally worth it I really wish they'd do a REmake style remake of Resident Evil 2. I think 2 is still my favorite after all of these years. Code Veronica is up there too. I stopped playing them after RE5 though. Resident Evil 2 was my all time favorite , I believe they are coming out with a remastered version soon, can't wait! |

I've been addicted to many games over the years but by far the most addicting game was Goldeneye for the N64. Played probably 3-4 hrs a day with friends back in 1997-1999 timeframe. We used to duct tape a cardboard divider to the TV to stop screen watching haha. I lived in a dorm at the time and we used to scream and yell so much the other people on our floor told me they thought we were wrestling WWF style in the room.
Golden gun in the temple, grenade launchers in facility... Man those were the days.

The N64 analog stick wasn't very forgiving.  Also, I have abandoned the game that prompted me the start this thread. f**k Bungie and their desire to constantly screw people over with their "balancing" efforts. 90% of the changes they have made to the game are simply to force people to play longer. Plus their business practices are completely moronic. I'm glad to move on from this pile.  |

Currently hooked on Galaga again after all these years on my son's 3-DS Still just as fun and challenging as it was in the 80's brings back a lot of Arcade memories!! |
