Starting this thread to track the OS16 proofs. It's been a long time since they were initially sold so it would be cool to find images of all OS16's fronts and backs.
If you have one, please post a pic. Hopefully with all the flick-it pics, we can put an animation together!

I was wondering this same thing recently. It would be great to have some higher-res images of them. There are photos of some of qthe proofs, I am guessing they came from Topps' auctions, floating around.

Couldn't tell you. I only know the where abouts of roughly 17 other os16 proofs

Baked Jake x7
Dirty x6
and Me x3 on it's way that I'll post probably Friday or Saturday.

I don't know if it's just me, but I think those images look a LOT more appealing with the higher numbers.

Agreed the run length is kinda badass. The "lost" ones look better in their original form.

I don't know if it's just me, but I think those images look a LOT more appealing with the higher numbers. Certainly makes it a lot easier to sort cards when you have a mess of them in a box. |

These are awesome... seeing the OS style and 620+ numbering makes me smile.
I think I am going to put together an honorary set using the cards as they were released in ANS and Chrome (I will begrudgingly have to use FB2 for Idol IRA and KEN Tiki though unless they come in Chrome 2).
Hell... I may even make me a wax wrapper mockup!

Does anybody know how many OS16 proofs were made for each card? Were there less made for this series opposed to say a series 4 proof?

I've only ever seen the color key proofs like above with the exception of some of the negatives that I saw in Don Tom's collection thread but those are on a uncut sheet. Check them out Here and while you are in there check out his amazing OS1 PSA 10 set. Beautiful stuff! |
