Glad you picked up the class photo final, it's an awesome piece of art that made it's way into a stellar art collection. Love the art pano, looks like a nice and peaceful GPK art sanctuary!

Got this a few weeks ago  This art is even bigger than poster art. It's 14" X 11" ish. Here is a picture just to show you how big this artwork is. 11" X 14" doesn't sound that big, but it is a pretty good size. Fugg that taxi border is toxic.   After framing:  One of the best pieces of all time! Man I covet this piece! |

Here is Cal Cavern framed. I really like how this one turned out. I tried to get a frame that would be similar to a rough cave wall and also match the browns at the top and bottom of the painting. |

The dark colors of the matte and frame really allow the colors to pop on this piece.

So jealous of all your new frames, if I could do it all over again I'd frame just the art too and keep it simple, looks so much better without the cards and other stuff distracting from it, so funny to see you had reframed, I have been thinking about doing this for awhile.
Still cry a little every time I see you have Dyna Mike too, but at least I know it has an awesome home.
Absolutely love your collection.

Luckily I didn't have a ton of my art framed when I decided to take the minimalist approach. I actually had to reframe everything because the frame type I was using was discontinued. I had to switch over and just decided to keep it simple. I like the cards in the frame but I learned less is more. No double mats, no cards, no colored mats....simple. Hope everything is going well for you. |
