Sweet collection. The cool thing about GPK is everyone can collect different things and still have a kick ass collection. I only collect cards and art. Spanky's into foreign cards. Stinger's into Proofs. John John loves his toys. You and Spree like the boxes. If we all collected the same things it would be pretty boring.
The only things I see in the first picture is the 2nd series dealer sheet and an unct 5th series sheet.

Thanks Cory. Yeah I definitely agree about how boring it would be if everyone collected the same GPK items. Yep, I'm definitely more into full boxes than the cards themselves, but I do have a few binder fulls of cards from most of the OG series. Maybe I could coax Spree into selling some of his fine boxes ^_~ You're almost spot on with the GPK items in the first picture... it's actually a 6th series 3x4 sheet. It wasn't very difficult to spot them at all huh

If you are talking about that uncut sheet in the closet, it's definitely a 5th series cut. I see Iron Jaw Aaron and Clark Can't on there.

haha, my bad you're right... I haven't seen my cards in a long time since I'm more focused on box art and searching for clean examples. Is Spree's OS1 box a NM/M example? I remember there was a GAI 9.5 box on ebay a month or two ago that went for a pretty penny.

Nice collection bro. Those are some minty fresh boxes fo' real! I've always wanted to score an uncut sheet. This dude tried to sell me a 1980's uncut wacky package sheet for $20 at the mall one day, but because i don't konw my wacky's i didn't know if it was fo' real or not!

Aye Sniglet, it's all good mayn. You gotta know how to hustle the game you feel me? Stay sharp to stay on the grind, that's how we do!
Thanks y'all. Yup, the tripod is for when breezies (come over) and want to get freaky. I gotta put that on camera ya dig?! ^_~
A couple of the boxes up there aren't 'MINT' enough for my liking, most notably the 12th series box with soft corners. Regardless of the minor flaws, they're still excellent boxes and no doubt I'm glad to have them in my collection, but I'm always on the lookout for truly mint boxes like the sixth series box I showed up above. Finding a top notch box is almost like finding the proverbial 'needle in a haystack'. I'm sure most of you guys are just as anal about your card/box/artwork conditions as I am.

Nice collection of boxes, now you only need a 1st series box in Mint state and you will be set.
That 6th series box, as long as the rest of the box is as nice as the sides shown would likely get a GAI 10.0 grade.
I haven't seen a GAI 9.5 1st series on ebay in a while.
There have been 2 to my knowledge, the first one sold for around $1,200 and mrweezer was the purchaser, he then turned around 1-a cards style and listed it the second it arrived to him. It ended up selling for around $1,100 plus weezer had to pay ebay fees on it so he actually lost money.
Then the other one was around 8-12 months ago and was sold to cjnyc (something like that, his name was Chris) and it sold for over $1,600. Those were the only 2 GAI 9.5 boxes I have seen on ebay (1 of them was sold twice).

I wish I could find a GAI 9.5 mint box... I've seen quite a few on EBay within the past year but none have been up to my standards. Speaking of 1-a cards, that b*tch is rude and lied to me when I purchased some items off him. I won't buy anything from him again, especially from a seller who types in all caps like he's yelling. He offered to swap the box with a clean one but gave me an attitude like, "you better be here in 40 minutes and you will only have this one opportunity." Basically I said f*ck it, took the loss and blacklisted him for good. So I take it he's a known schemer around here. Soupie, I have a 2nd series box... it's up there in the pics.

Your collection is amazing, no doubt about it, but I was referring to the Cheap Toys 2nd series which was released in Canada.
I would love to see a mint box of those bastards.

:banghead: :banghead: Soooo...you didn't happen to get this box by mistake did you? The reason I ask is because I bought a PRISTINE box off of eBay a few weeks back, only to receive a half-empty box of buttons instead. The seller apologized for his mistake, but wasn't able to do anything because the person who received my poster box didn't return it. Soooo...you didn't happen to buy a box of buttons did you? (box looks great by the way and belongs in your collection!! - take care!)

Some new ish:*CHERRY MINT Mad Magazine - GPK issue* *Clean rack pack box* *SUPER CLEAN OS1 box.... too bad it's empty =(* *MINT OS12 boxes with the exception of the bottom left box, not up to my extraordinarily high grading standards =)*

That MAD is cool man. I don't think I've seen a case of rack packs on here before either. Do you usually score your boxes on Ebay? I would think it would be tough sometimes to get these super nice boxes unless you request many pics.

THe condition of the stuff you get is always amazing. Looking at your boxes you'd never guess that they are 20 years old. I'm glad you found a OS1 box that was up to your standards. Packs or not that's a great box.
Great collection. ;D

Nice Loving that OS1 box even if its empty, just out of interest why do some boxes (not yours) have those damn black lines across the front The black lines mean they were sent to a close-out warehouse and sold for pennies on the dollar or something to that effect.
