Your photography is inspiring me to do the same. The green oozes gpk retro slime. I dig the green the most too. Love this thread, this is what collecting is all about. Nice to see some true collectors left on this site. Looking forward to the next photo ed!

Thanks guys I have just put pictures of my whole/Current collection up in the showcase area! Here's one I found earlyer from ages ago I don't even have this toy anymore but it's a great pic. I was able to witness the very first minikins package being opened along with simko, walton, engstrom, wheaton, the topps rep and yeah... took a photo but... gotta wait a bit till i get clearing...
what i can say is this..
if it wasn't a mistake.... then.... they may be using diff materials for these figures...
As of now, Brent owns the a tv-stevie and... damm forgot the other already... well, it's the green tv-steevie that is special....

What do you mean by different materials?

They are not the same material as original Cheap Toys. I am sure they are softer, question is...How much softer?

They are not the same material as original Cheap Toys. I am sure they are softer, question is...How much softer? Well that's the thing. one of the 2 i held tonight was... well, more like an eraser... but it's supposedly a mistake.... They are definitely bouncy though and .... as i'm holding the gold one in my hand... . i can tell you that they are quite flexible, but rigid enough that they stand without a problem (or in this case, sit down, despite his large mushroom cloud). Will explain more tonight ... writing up my post now

They are more hard than soft. Hope that helps.

They are more hard than soft. Hope that helps. Yeah it's a really great combination. Soft for cheap toy collectors. Hard for trash pack collectors. Like an inbetween version of the 2. They're perfect really, Topps seriously nailed it on these.

Nice. I figured they would be a softer material than any of the original Cheap Toys plastics, but I was mainly just hoping they would not be ultra squishy like Trash Pack. From how you guys are describing them, I think I am going to be a happy camper.

Leaky Lindsay sculpt and yellow shade comparison. From L to R, original series 1 Rubbery Neon Yellow GPK Cheap Toy, Topps Neon Yellow Minikin, and original Novo Bonbon series 2 yellow.

Love that yellow comparison shot. I really want to get a neon yellow Cheap Toy someday. Here are a few Cheap Toys photos I've taken (the ones in the Series 2 shot are rubber repros. And I just NOW realized that I put Megan the opposite direction of the others by mistake in the Series 1 group shot...doh!).

I need to get a hold of him what's he charge for a figure? I think it came out to around $12 to $14 per figure. I was really happy with the purchase. Good way to get these figures in your collection if you don't want to spend all the time and big bucks trying to get the real deals. Plus, I actually prefer them in the rubbery material.

The rubber material isn't bad at all, but the hard Novo plastic is da bomb!
