Positive Purchase Large
Russ sold some of his imperial items and a cheap toy. As usual everything arrived fast and in great shape. This was just like old times when Russ and I did weekly transactions with each other. Thanks again buddy

Nice thread Doug!! Not sure where we can go from here with Wall Plaks, but maybe there's some creative collectors that can think of something. I saw these at a Michael's arts and Crafts store on the counter where you check out, around 1986-7. Also, at ToysRus. Like you they can tell us stories of the first time they saw them or show us how they display them. That's what all these threads are for. Memories, display pics, collection pics and opinions so don't be shy let's see your pics and here your stories

Discuss and post pics of any of your balloons or punchballs. The most common balloons were released by The National latex products co. of Ashland Ohio there were 2 types of balloons a 7" and a 14" also released by the same company was a larger balloon known as a punch ball

When this taffy was out it was the only candy my freinds and i ever bought kind of sucks it went away the taffy was pretty good. Better than whats in stores now and i'm talking prepackaged like laffy and stuff. Where were these being sold? I never knew of or saw these as a kid. -TCT From what I understand they were released in 1988. The corner store where I use to buy all my gpk's from sold these individually for a nickel. I don't know if they were actually released to be sold individually out of a plastic candy container or if they just opened a bag and dumped them into a container. But that is my childhood memory of these.

They were not sold on a card. They were sold at the counter out of a plastic container.

Which one do you have is it the one in the cover or is it labeled? Or did they forget to make the others... I have the mauled Paul, dizzy Dave one you can tell by the red mark below the different bop bags on the back of the box. I'm guessing if you don't have that red dot you have the Adam bomb one on the cover

Discuss and post pics of your imperial key chains. For some reason these are a lot harder to come by then i ever thought they would be. Most people confuse these with the zipper pulls but the keychains use some different characters then the zipper pulls and also have a key chain ring where zipper pulls do not. Be careful if you are looking to buy some of these as there are alot of bootleg key chains out there. The imperial key chains will their logo and TM on one side of the key chain. Not positive how many are in a set I have read 12 and 18. Here are the few examples i own Fronts Backs

Hey Russ you might want to change the name of this thread the stamp pad is a placo item not a imperial item. And Doug, you might want to add another "i" to "Offical", I'm getting tired of doing it, lol.

Discuss and post pics of your imperial school set. The pencil bags in these sets have the exact same characters as the imperial pencil bags the only difference is that the come with a protractor, ruler, pencil sharpened, and eraser. There are 6 different styles and are pretty hard to come by.

Here are the 30 different wrappers most people think a set is made up of 16 different wrappers because some of these wrappers are considered rare and cannot be found inside every bag of candy like Nasty Nick

Discuss and post pics of the garbage pail kids chewy candies released by Confex, INC and made in Argentina by productos stani circa 1988 Here is my full bag of the chewy candies 2 of these have popped up eBay this year (2012) and I was lucky enough to score one. Pretty hard to find because let's face it how many kids got a bag of candy and left it sealed.
