That trash can one above is how the minikins packaging should be. A trash can stuffed with lil rubber figs. Sick stuff Mark!! F**k Michael Jordan! When I grow up, I want to be like Ping. Yeah, like the old M.U.S.C.L.E.S. !!!! That would be great.
Great pieces Mark!

Thank to geepeekrazy again for another OS3 Bunk piece - Hurt Curt! For now I am using an existing matte for him which actually worked out better than I thought. This now gives me a complete row of OS3 Bunk pieces. Super excited since OS3 is my favorite series. Now I just need to find some Pound color roughs from it.
Couple of quick pics:

Nice frame jobs! If I may ask, what size frame did you end up using for the JungHwa Im finals? Thanks, for finals I used a 5"x7" opening with a 2.5" matte for sides and top/bottom and 1/4" for the inner matte. Total size before frame equals 10.5" x 12.5"

A HUGE update! My new finals are all framed up, all six of them. Classic GPK characters! It was like Christmas opening up the Michael's framing packages and I am just thrilled with every single one of them. I realize I will probably never own an OS1 - OS3 final but I found the next big thing, at least for me. I just love the original characters the best. The GPK "classic combos" series were some of my favorite cards. It's great seeing them both on one card. My boy New Wave Dave was back too. Seeing a final in person is something else. The colors are so vibrant and it's so clear. Love it.
I hope to have everything on the wall soon, both finals and color roughs. Here are the latest additions:
I feel so fortunate to own this one! My favorite character of all time:
This one is my favorite combo! It also just looks amazing in person.
Tiny Tim and Charlotte!
Scotty!
Group shot. If you know where the other finals or color roughs are, let me know. I would love to own more, especially the Max Stacks/Adam Bomb one as well as Mad Max and Dead Ted (Simon!)
I was not sure about the colors when I chose this one but wow. It came out great, especially in person:
My boys and I always do this so it was a must have. One of my favorite characters too:
Thank to geepeekrazy for this one. Always a fan of Large Marge!
Thank you Geoff for Cheeky! I have decided I want all of the frames to be the same size so did this one to match. Going to redo some of my first batch too.
For those wondering, most of the finals are from Junghwa Im and she is one of the nicest artists I have met. Like David Gross, she confirmed that none of the original characters were photoshopped. All were drawn with pencil first and were to be as close to the original versions as possible to please fans. The differences are there but I just love them and hope to acquire some of the other classic GPK character cards. Simon, I need the Mad Max/Dead Ted one!
It took a lot of work to track down these pieces and that Adam Bomb wrapper art. I just love the art and the hunt and it has really worked out so far.
That's it. You can probably tell that I am super excited.

Love all the framed pieces! Favs are the mad Donna and the wrapper art. Can't wait to see them all on the wall. Its addicting
Thanks, those are my favorites too.
Choosing the mattes is fun but tough. They only have a limited amount of suede mattes (which I prefer) so it can be a bit tricky My next batch looks even better, more colorful, and I am very excited about them. I picked out the mattes but have to wait for the coupon now...

The mattes and frames arrived today so I took the art up to Michael's and here it is! Very impressed with their work. It felt like Christmas today! Adding mattes and frames really adds to these special pieces, even more that I thought they would. I cannot wait for my next batch. Thanks Geoff and Rawls for some of the tips!

I don't buy many new characters but my boys and I both loved this guy from Cut the Rope and for $150, had to get him:
I have some more pieces to get framed but they would not give me the discounts again on the same frames...have to wait for a new coupon on them now. Hopefully soon!

I did have a good transaction with him and received a couple of PMs about it from others. I said mine was fine but I would not do a deal over $100 because something did not seem quiet right with him...sorry for anyone who got ripped off.

I have asked them before but they will never give any details. They just said they would look and see what older stuff they have and may eventually put it on eBay and to keep an eye out. I wish someone from Topps would post here every now and then, not just the artists or does anyone have a contact that can search for us? I believe that the guy who runs the GPK Chase site is working on a new site that will have a nice art section.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Equally amazing that no one else asked Bunk about the wrapper art before and that almost 30 years later he still had it laying around and agreed to part with it! Nicely done! Yeah, I thought the same thing...figured being this late to the art game that I would never own a piece like this...still in shock really.

The focus will now be on art. I am hooked on it. Here is my collection so far, not framed yet. Big thanks to OS1 Mafia, geepeekrazy, Mr. Tom Bunk, SteveO, Oliver, and other members here. I could not have gotten these treasures without you guys!
I recently found out that Tom Bunk did the art to one of my favorite GPKs of all time, the Adam Bomb version on the wrapper. I have always wanted to own a version of it and was disappointed that the Chrome pencil art was not similar to the wrapper. I recently began collecting art and since Tom sells some of his original pieces, I asked if he happened to have the wrapper artwork of Adam Bomb. He was not sure but after a couple of days of searching he said he did and offered to sell it to me.
Here is the color rough of the OS1 Adam Bomb Wrapper! It will be framed very soon.
I am so excited about every piece and will hopefully have them framed and on the walls soon. Thanks.
