it's gone up a bit in the past week , but i just cant see this reaching the goal . pretty sad that only just over 200 people have contributed. i realy thought that there would be more hardcore fans contributing to this . i know theres alot more then 200 people out there that love gpk's .

just over 100 backers now . but still alot of dollars to go . what happens to our money if they dont reach the goal . i think they'll get over 125,000. It's only been 4 days and they are up to 8k already. Plus a lot of people normally raise their pledge down the road. oh , i didnt realise that it had only been up for only 4 days . so far i have posted on blowout , wacky packages forum and my facebook .

they could have put them in a slim box and put the factory shrink wrap on them .......... but that would make too much sense .

any kind of pack searching is wrong . wether it's cards , or minikins. i shouldnt even have to explain why . when you go into a retail store and see the minikins gravity feed empty , and all the mini kins packs are resting on top of all the other boxes of packs..... you know a feelsqueezer was there. they didnt even bother to put the ones they didnt want back in the feed .......

True, but from what i understand Colin doesn't have the final say... ...OK maybe the EDITOR/ ART DIRECTOR title only was created just to fill some space in the checklist cards... ...but please help me to understand whatta hell was going on at the time "the guy or guys" with the final say approved this waste of card stock! ...unless it was approved meanwhile that "guy" was on in the middle of a awful #2... is abysmal that this kind of doodle comes inside of a $2.5 pack ..I would go directly to the store asking for a REFUND! I WOULD LOVE TO BE SITTING AT THE TABLE WHEN TOPPS GO'S AHEAD AND GIVES THE FINAL APPROVAL ON SKETCHES OR THE BASE CARDS. hairball moll ? are you kidding me ? what about that card is gpk what casket casey ? totaly not worthy of being a bonus card. ALOT OF BNS 3 WAS ABSOLUTLY HORRIBLE . it is clear to me they are just rushing releases and hoping that we buy it. once they get all of there options in from the artists if they cant approve enough "worthy" cards to finish a set then just dont release one !!!! dont release a set until you can release one that the collectors will be happy with . if i was a director of a movie and had a great idea , if i didnt have a worthy ending i simply wouldnt release it until i had one ...... i know topps is in the business to make money but , there just going to continue to lose people. i never got a chance to collect any of the ans so not sure how bad some of those releases were , but this bns 3 release is so bad . i havent pre ordered any of the 2014 product and i wont be until i see some of the set. im all set ....

I spent a lot on BNS1 but now that I'm here and have trust built with members its a lot easier to trade & complete sets. I probably spent about $2000 on BNS1, If I play my cards right I only plan on spending about $500-800 on BNS2 and Ill get what I get, I have like 7 OS sets to buy soon anyway that are on hold for me. I have my Plate & sketch from BNS1, I'm happy with that, I'm not a gold digger either but my hats off to those that put the gold sets together. As far as the new BNS2 artwork, some of it is nice & some are pretty dull. I'm not going to stop collecting over it though, we have to remember, they are made for kids, an adult set would be a nice change. Years from now you're going to reread your above post and realize you spent wayyyyyyyyyyy too much. The collectible aspect of gpk has really destroyed the hobby the same way it destroyed sports cards in the early 90's. Noone should have to spend 1000$ to try to complete a basic set. In europe, it takes about 2 panini boxes to complete a full sticker album of about 200-250 stickers. sticker packs sell for 50cents a pack (usually 5 stickers per pack). One box of 50 packs sells for 25 euros. Bottom line, panini has held on to a very strong community of collectors with this basic concept that hasn't changed in over 30 years. We didn't need collectible gimmicks to buy gpks in the 80's and we don't need them now. We're being made to think that we do. Good art will always stand the test of time. It is the artwork that draws us to the original cards, not the quantity of the cards they produced. Gpk collectors are a vastly different breed (i'd like to think this is still true) compared to sports card collectors who only collect cards based on the players performance and the values of the cards are based off that performance. i do enjoy collecting the paralels , although i wont go broke trying to complete sets. im hopeful i get a nice sketch , but i wont get extremely upset if i dont get one . i still collect gpk becasue i enjoy them , it takes me back to my childhood . do i sell some ? sure i do , but im not in it just to make money . i keep most of what i open up . i love sports . and i still collect sports cards . i also treat my sports cards the same way i treat my gpk collecting . collect some for myself and sell some . im not in these hobbies only to make money . i think thats where the problem lies for so many people. i see it on many message boards. people spending crazy cash on case after case. then getting so upset becasue they didnt get anything good . i still remember being a kid and walking to the convenience store to get a couple of packs of baseball cards. i would open them up on the way home and get so excited simply because i got the base card of a player i liked ........... not a autograph or game used card , simply a base card .

well i knew not to expect a perfect set with bns 2 . but i like what i see so far. i have just gotten back into collecting gpk. i do understand where your coming from . there is still alot topps can fix . i think they know exactly what we want. they know how to release a proper gpk set. but i think there will always be the filler in the product......... the not so popular artists .

i love the horror inspired ones the most. but the gpk sticker just take me back to the time when i was a kid would go get bread and milk for my mom and she would give me some change for a few packs. i realy had fun with these. i dont know what happened to all the gpk i had from my childhood. but anyways while on the sports card message board the other night i found out about the flashback series. which is great because i can now get all the ones i remember. there not the originals but i dont care. also i notice there are alot of special cards. paralels and what not.
so i ended up getting a case of series 2 flashback and a few boxes of series one flashback. while i think this is a great idea. i think this should be the last flashback series and they should focus on a brand new series. i hear it is up to series 22 ?
