No one has said anything about ALIEN IAN, I love this card, OK he doesn't look like a CPK but its an awesome card with great colors. I would for the final art on that bad boy. I think the Mars Attacks parody was lost on a lot of people. Because 1) Mars Attacks wasn't popular with kids (aka past it's prime) and 2) Mars Attacks is pretty lame overall. The card looks great, it's just the concept is a little iffy if you either don't hate or don't like Mars Attacks. Speaking of Mars Attacks did anyone watch the movie? So fuggin horrible. One of the worst things I've ever seen. For a movie to have so many big names it was pathetic. Yeah I didn't like that movie much either, but I sill reckon that art rules. To me it looks really iconic. Did you know the Frighteners was filmed in New Zealand. ;D

Mike,
I want that little house where Bilbo Baggins lived in...the one that was in the hill. LOTR was filmed in NZ, right?
I think after all these posts, Series 4 has gained some steam. Outerspace Chase is a bad ass piece!
Take care, Peter

Hey Mike - are you a fan of Braindead (Dead Alive) and Bad Taste? Peter Jackson's early stuff is SOOO gooooood!!! Gory & funny and all around awesome!!
Anyway - on topic of series 4, here are my top 4, in no particular order:
Bony Tony Swollen Sue Ellen Max Axe Shorned Sean
Mostly the same as others I suppose, but how can you not be a fan of a girl with an ass for a face?? Good times, man!

They have set up tours where you get on a bus and go around all the sights in the movie.

Good times, man! I like Shorned Sean, I even collect singles of that card but Shorned Sean is the Joe Blow of OS4, it seems like a shorned sean pops up in everyother pack. It's weird, surely that card wasn't printed more than any of the others, yet to this day I run into that card more in OS4 packs than anyother card. Crystal Gale seems alittle more common in that set as well. Joe Blow still is the most common of all GPK cards. Does anyone know why there's SO many of that card(84 a/b)?

besides Dyna Mike, there aren't any iconic ones in the series. I guess it's just a difference of taste, but i just don't see it. OS4 has some goodies...but I think it was a sharp drop-off from OS3. The ones I enjoy looking at the most are: Trashed Tracy Bony Tony Hip Kip Max Axe Ig Lou Shorned Sean Teddy Bear ...but sadly there is just too many 'meh' cards sprinkled throughout, like: 4-Eyed Ida Horny Hal Mouth Phil Tiffany Lamp As for OS6...I could look at Sherwood Forrest all day long: I have this acetate ^ =) I had to chime in on this one. OS4 is and always will be my fav GPK series of all time. Crystal Gale was the first card i ever had signed by Tom Bunk and is still one of my favs, hell, its my avatar and even my youtube.com wallpaper www.youtube.com/user/Sniglet82I love every card in the series. Its probably nostalgia that makes this series my fav as i have very fond memories of my uncle buying me and unopened box of these bad boys when i was in second grade. But it has a lot of GPK history in it as well. Last pink GPK logo, 3 variations to 3 different cards, Dana Druff is the only GPK that you see from the side of the face (except for the fact that you can see her in the mirror) etc. Of course, each series has its own unique qualities to it but the whole name change variation is what makes it so epic IMO

You're an awesome GPK historian Snig! And you seem SO passionate about card details and the drama surrounding them! I hope you make more videos!! You could be the Wayne or Barren Aaron of GPK Videos! Just wish you were around UG more!

I'm glad you like the vids guys! I am most def going to make another GPK video. They're really fun to make! I'm torn between the history of the ANS7 madness and the introduction of the ANS artists. Which would you guys rather see first?

Yeah OS 4 might be my favorite of all time - at least some of my all time favorites are in this series - my top 4: Hy Gene Marty Gras Hip Kip Dana Druff Hip Kip/Walt Witless is a classic in my opinion that often is forgotten because it's in series 4 I have some great OS4 graded cards and a Tom Bunk auto of Crystal Gale that he signed for me

Damn, where's the love for Holly wood? That's one of the most beautiful GPKs of all time. I'm talking about beauty here. Put that card #15 (instead of #1) in the series and you aren't talking about it right now. Also, it gets more love than normal because of the error thing. It's a good card but I wouldn't classify it as great. It's a great filler card though. I disagree...Holly Wood is one of the few Series 4 cards that still looks like a Cabbage Patch doll...getting nailed, sawed on, and the best part, pecked on by a wood pecker. It's great!

I like the card a lot, but no more than say OS5 Bill Ding, which gets hardly any love. All I'm saying is that the card gets more recognition than it should because it's the first card in the set (and an error card) and burned into your brain. OS4 is chock full of average cards which brings the series down overall IMO. Of course there are greats in the set but it was a big step down from OS3. OS5 picked up the slack 3 months later though.

I was going to try and get that one when the art first came out but I had other pieces to get first. Glad a UG member got it.

This was the series that got me hooked on GPK's. Favorites were Max Axe, Bony Tony, Brett Vett, and Jack O' Lantern.
