Why raise it to 100 characters up by 10 from the last 3 themed series why not just go that bit further and make it 110 like the first few themed series

Did they have a contest to come up with the stupidest f**cking name possible? Leave it to topps to screw up a no brainer.

the sell sheet doesn't have me excited at all . dean of the dead is the strongest one . still looks like they are using the artists that don't know how to do a proper gpk .

Why raise it to 100 characters? It's a conspiracy with Ultra Pro since you'll need an extra 9-pocket page just to store that 100th card. And dealers need to buy 11% more boxes to make the same number of base sets as the 90-card series. It's like the peanut butter that still costs the same but now the jar has a huge indented dome at the bottom to yield less product.

So they've added a new "jelly" parallel. That makes seven parallels now, in addition to the base (white) card and the autograph card. So a collector can fill out a nine-card frame without having to buy a unique item like a sketch or printing plate. This definitely makes it cheaper, but I'm not sure how much I'd enjoy a nine-card framed set that has a /50 gold card as its most special feature.
Another option would be to include a sketch or plate, and leave out the base card. The autograph card already has a white border, so you'd be able to avoid duplicating a border color that way. But of course no one here cares because no one collects parallels. So I'm talking to no one. Fart.

I have mine listed on eBay where no one is buying them.

The classic reprint cards have the same desighn as the ones from we hate the 80s I was expecting a skull or some sort of monster face in the corner like the nuclear symbol in Adam-geddon or the musical note in Battle of the bands

Hopefully with the new set coming out in 4 months I have a favorite!! I just scoured eBay and couldn't find a green Misfit Manny. It's weird how a card just won't show up no matter how many months you wait. I was waiting for a gold Flo Worm for a while before I gave up and listed my incomplete rainbow on eBay. Good luck in your search - if I see it, I'll alert you.

Please mutilate the Goldbergs!!! I don't even watch the show, but somehow I feel a hatred for it growing inside me because of these cards. I agree., What is his contribution to GPK ? Sinse they keep using that show

Sinse they keep using that show I think he's friends with Simko. Oh, and one of the kids in the show has a GPK sticker on his bedroom door. That's it as far as I can tell.

I don’t care what the cards in this horror set look like as long as the set still comes with plates and sketches, I never get tired of plates and sketches.

I hear you, that 1/1 stuff is hard to resist. I'm sure I'll be bidding on a few blank backs from the Vault, regardless of the overall quality of the set.

I can’t wait until I get a 1/1!! So do you guys think it’s better to save money and buy the ones you want on eBay or buy collector boxes, packs, cases etc..
What’s worked better for you? I can only really pull gold and autos but maybe my time will come.. I love the feeling of opening the packs but seems like just buying the good ones on eBay may be were it’s at!!
Speaking of eBay$$$ Right now I would sell my souls for that cheap toys series 2 Fishy Phyllis!!! It’s killing me I bet it’s going for a lot... someone is very lucky. It’s the first series 2 I’ve seen on there since I started collecting them.

It's much cheaper that way, instead of buying a bunch of boxes or blind hot packs. But if you aren't looking for a specific plate or sketch, there is the fun-factor of buying the boxes and blind packs. Blank backs are another beast entirely. You can only get them from the Topps Vault. But be prepared to pay through the nose for the better ones. I bought five from the 80s set and spent $400. That's like half the value of an OS color rough.

Blank backs are interesting

Blank backs are interesting Blank backs are artificially rare, in the sense that Topps manufactured them purposely as a 1/1 item. But still, even though it's a money grab by Topps, it's more cost effective to own the blank back than it is to own the original art, by orders of magnitude.
