It says 2018 series 1 may have an 80s theme the 80s was the theme of the main set of the 30th anniversary series so why would they repeat a theme thats been used before

Three months between releases is completely moronic. But you can't expect anything intelligent from the jack asses running this brand. Don't care for the themes either, how long must we wait for DTA______ set. The dinosaur can throw footballs, tennis balls, golf balls, the set writes itself.

I don't want him to get played out like Adam Bomb. I mean obviously DTAB is in a different class than lame ass Adam Bomb but over-saturation is never a good thing.

Oh and yay!! I can't wait to see the sketch cards from Jasmine Contois, βSmokinβ Joe McWilliams and Anthony Skubis just to name a few. These artist's influence on GPK cannot be measured.
But seriously, and no offense to any of these artists, but does anyone really get excited about sketch cards anymore? All I see is these things plummeting in price. There are so many they are not special in any way. Every time the next set comes out, who cares about the previous ones? If I was at all interested in the new art, I would just hold off on buying a few sketch cards and buy a final from the new set. I don't get it.

There are some cool cards that these artists do but I can't say I want to spend money on them. Quite a few sell for a pretty good price when the realease hit but after that not so much.

I didn't understand the appeal in ANS4

Sketchcards are so overrated, Topps is sending s stack to just about anyone dumb enough or bored enough to sketch them. It took me almost a decade to pull a damn sketch and then I pull 2 almost back to back. I never think about them, not once. Maybe if the two I pulled was from Brent or Mark or Steve Potter or Jason Heil... those sketches would matter. I rather have a Pound nail that took him 10 seconds to doodle (just for the autograph, honestly) than one of these new guy's sketches, that takes them an hour to sketch just one.

confused as to why they over printed this stuff ? im pretty comfortable saying that gpk sales should be down . I would think they would print less.this time I wont buy a box until I see the images ........... which sucks because I love opening up packs and seeing new art for the first time . the element of surprise is gone . I refuse to buy any more boxes only to find out I like 5 percent of the cards .

Thee are some repeat characters didn't expect to see in the classic rock subset such as Hip Kip and Walt Witless or Blake Flake and Hippy Skippie

Topps reaches another creative pinnacle. 2 subsets with exactly the same cards (Patch and Classic Rock) more Bathroom Buddies and the always fan demanded Gross Bears again. Let me throw out another wild guess that theres going to be nothing on the backs yet again. But they do have....um.....green borders DERP um yellow borders?? DERPY DEE....BLUE BORDERS!!! HERPY DERPY DERP!! Sad part is some jackass got paid to put literally no creativity or thought into putting this set together while the artists make s**t.

Question. Are the Jumbo Classic Rock cards just reprints of the classic cards, but larger? Or are they new artwork?

Topps keeps overstating the market with GPK sets no fan really wants to buy. Please, for the love of god Topps get a clue. We GPK fans aren't interested in this well...garbage.π.

What are the odds of getting GPKs that actually look like GPKS?
Also, what's the over/under for cards with decent artwork?

ok guys , so im still keeping my word ......... for now ....... yes im weak .... lol I took a peek at some of the stuff on ebay and there are a few I realy dig . and a lot that I just don't "get" with the gpk's we grew up with , we would look at a card love the art and "get" the gag immediately . now I look at some of these and say ? ok ? this looks nothing like a gpk and I just don't "get" the gag ........ has anyone here opened up a box yet ?
ratio of good and bad in your opinion ?
a lot of people are complaining about the re issues that come in the fat packs . but I will probably get some of those . yes they are reprints . but it will be nice to have "mint" copies of those subjects. we all know it is difficult to pull a mint on center card back then .....
