I'm surprised Trump himself didn't see these Donald or Barron?

Topps Reveals Print Run for GPK Trumpocracy 2017 #16-#17 Just when you thought sales couldn't get any lower, Tuesday's GPK cards set new record low sales..... On the contrary, I believe it can much lower. 68 is way too high and there's plenty of room for sales to keep dropping. When it gets to zero then I will believe it won't go much lower.

Topps Launches GPK Trumpocracy #21-#23 Absolute trash. Topps is embarrassing good artists by forcing them to rush poor concepts. How is it that yesterday's decent Michael Barnard "Nut Job" card #19 is the aberration instead of the rule with this Trumpocracy series? That nutcracker concept was actually thought-out, reminded me of Oak Kay from OS4, and the final art was a good representation of an important historical event revealing Trump's authoritarian decision-making process and its consequences. If all the cards portrayed pivotal events like this in an abstract metaphorical manner instead of Donald touching a plasma globe or Melania swatting his hand away, this Trumpocracy series would be real political memorabilia instead of the travesty we are witnessing.

rockholt, maybe I missed the explanation, but why is it that these online cards skip a number between releases? For example, Trumpocracy jumped from #14 to #16-17 then #19 and now #21-23. There are no a/b twins, just missing numbers.

There are no a/b twins, just missing numbers. Sorry about that, I quit covering the Wacky Packages with the new releases. For a few weeks there most of the cards were all Wackys. I no longer wanted to cover them, so I'm only reporting on the new GPK cards.

Heh, I actually kinda like this one. It could really use a more appealing palette, though...

glad that Layron Dejarnette is back... that can only be a plus But what about the concepts? Layron is among my favorite artists too, but most of these spews just depict inconsequential news of the day. I liked Barnard's #19 "Nut Job James" because it captured a pivotal moment in Trump's presidency when he fired the person investigating him then admitted as much in an interview, leading to accusations of obstruction of justice, an impeachable offense. A decade from now, who's going to care about a sinkhole at the Mar-a-Lago golf course?

Oh look, Trump backed out of the Paris climate change agreement. I'm calling it right here and now, Topps is going to churn out a dozen craptastically drawn cards of Trump bashing in the skulls of polar bears or something.

Okay, what is UP with this one? The near photorealistic style makes this thing look more like a painting in a haunted house than a casual trading card! Though I must say whoever painted it should find another business to make original work for, they've got skills!

I remember when this garbage was selling around 300 cards per character. Then it was around 200. Now 100. Can't wait till its around 0.

Looks like they just painted it on canvas, which distracts from the art and why no other artist ever used that type of canvas before.
