As you are most likely aware of by now Topps artist Jay Lynch isn't doing well. Topps is currently offering to donate profits from an online set to Jay to help offset medical expenses. Some have also asked how they can donate to Jay Lynch directly.
Taken from another thread here is the answer.
If anyone is so inclined his PayPal address is: jaylynch@mindspring.com
That being said I was sad to see the thread about the online set turn into a Topps bashing session. Perhaps Topps deserves it but I felt it wasn't the place. Instead I'd like to see some love for the artist and his work.
I'm a rookie compared with most of you. If you could share with me your Jay Lynch stories, artwork and favorite cards I and many others would appreciate seeing them.
and Please don't turn this into a Topps bashing session. There are 101 threads to bash Topps in but this ain't one!

Got a card signed by Jay Lynch over a decade ago. I chose this one because it looked exactly like the concept art that he sent to Topps. He sent me a sketch on a White Castle promo as a little extra. Super nice of him to include it.

Super nice of him to include it. Sketch cards like this are awesome. Keep em coming. Do you have a picture of that concept art? My GPK knowledge doesn't go much past OS5-6. Is there a place that sorts cards by illustrator? Can I find a list of cards illustrated by Jay Lynch without manually checking each series?

I haven't visited here in a long time. Though I still love my GPK and Wacky collection. Wanted to visit and share my sadness Over a decade ago I ask Jay to sign some cards. We talked on and off via this forum and others. He was always kind! Not your typical "art snob" RIP Jay.
