Have you lost your mind? Trade my glorious Tots away? It would be easier to get grid of my children, I can make more of those. I though you were on of the good ones.

Great thread Steve! Most everyone knows about my Turtles movie props and since Rahul showed off three I figured I would too Before I was into Garbage Pail Kids I was a huge Turtles fan. Back in 1990 I was 6 years old and TMNT was the first film I ever saw in the theaters. I still remember going till this day and I of course watched the films year after year. Finding anything from the first 2 movies is incredibly hard due to the fact that most of the props were made of foam latex or rubber (which deteriorates and tuns to dust). Only 3 weapon sets were made for the first 2 films. 2 of the sets the property master removed the leather and re wrapped them for the 2nd film. So even though all 3 weapon sets were used in both films only 1 set is still original to the first film. I own 1 sai which mathces part 1, a pair that were re wrapped for part 2 and leos katanas used for part 1. Some cool info on these: The brown rust color is actually hair dye brushed on which made them look used and old. There was a clear coat sprayed on the top so it wouldn't flake off. Dye was also used on the sai but no clear coat. There is green paint on the handles due to the turtles needing to be touched up between takes. They are 33 inches long. These were used throughout the film. One was sharpened as it was the katana Casey used when chopping carrots. They were also used when Leo is blindfolded and practicing at the farm house. Enjoy the Dang dude those are too cool!! Really nice to see all the weapons in one post...and with the pics of them in action! I also remember seeing the movie in the theatre at a friend's birthday party haha...cool that was the first movie you saw in a theatre...classic days and good movies!

I collected all kinds of different things before getting back into GPK, some that I didn't see listed such as vinyl/records, laserdisc/CED and videogames. As for GPK, I guess this would be my domestic holy grail item: a NM Imperial Bop Bag (Adam Bomb/New Wave Dave). These rarely surface in decent condition. I want to get this piece graded one day just to have it encapsulated. For foreign GPK it would probably be this card as my fav Bukimi Kun (besides Mugged Marcus): Will take some pics of my other collectibles soon.

My collection favorites are not exactly what most would call grails, but to me they are priceless. The first favorite is a John Pound signed Flamin Raymond card that my good friend Geoff got for me when he met John Pound. He knew that my 2nd favorite GPK of all time was Raymond so he had Pound sign this card and then he mailed it to me. I've known Geoff for quite a few years now, and even though he lives on the opposite coast from me and we've never actually met, I consider him a really good friend. Anyone who knows Geoff would agree that he is a standup guy through and through. The next favorite is the pencil art to Flamin Raymond. Some people don't like pencil art or color roughs, but this one means a lot to me because I bought this from the man himself, John Pound. I kept the envelope he sent it in along with a nice little note he wrote, and as an added bonus, my name is on the COA (all art he sells he puts the name of the buyer on the COA for those who don't know). My last favorite is a 1921 silver dollar. This is the only item I have of my grandfather, and it was the year he was born. The monetary value is not much, but to me it's priceless.

Thanks for the kind words Steve! That's why I love the ug, so many friends that I've gotten to know through the years even beyond gpk. The pencil arts from pound are really killer. Especially since they laid the groundwork for the final art. Timmy still has his tongue tied Tim pencil you gave him on his bedroom wall 1 piece that will never be up for sale.
