Dontom, Good luck with your Star Wars boxes. You'll have to post the sketches you pull.
Tharbearrocks, I'm glad you like the pin-up! It was a lot of fun to work on.

Hey, any other artists here know what is the best brand gold, silver and / or black pens to get for signing the ANS GPK cards? The Sharpies I'm using don't seem to work good on the gloss surface. They are pissing me off!!!

I use silver sharpies, but they sometimes still bead up. I think some of the cards are glossier than others or something.

I rub the card surface to get some of the gloss duller and that sometimes works but most of the time its still beading up. Even paint is tough. There must be a pen of some kind. Luis? Fred? Anyone else?

I haven't tried using them on cards or anything, but I've used silver paint pens on fabric before, and I think those may work well - it looks like that's the type of pen Luis may have used on the cards he signed for me. The paint seems quite a bit thicker than just regular ink, so it may take a while to dry, but probably wouldn't bead. Good luck!

That was about 6 or 7 years ago. It took about 7 years to get that long.

This turned out well. How much are the commissioned pin-up's and the size? Hey guys, I ordered a commissioned pin-up of my wife with some GPKs around her from Brent. Needless to say, I'm super happy with what he did!! It looks fuggin AWESOME!! Here it is: You can also see the pencil & ink versions on Brent's blog!! I only have the scan right now, but when I get it all framed up and stuff, I'll toss some pics in my collection thread. That's pretty cool. Great choice of characters. Now we just need a pic of the wife to compare.

Hey Stinger!! The piece is on an 8 1/2 x 11, and it takes up pretty much the whole page!! I'll let Brent talk with you about prices, but I think it was very reasonable for the art I got!!

I can't find an issue number, but it's a SpongeBob special collector's edition. It has a big picture of SpongeBob wearing sunglasses on the cover.

Here's a Pin-Up based off Barry's Garbage Pail Wife concept of his wife and her career. Thanks Barry!. Brent once again is just simply amazing. His ideas are beyond what anyone would even ask for. He's very easy to work with. If you have an idea just shoot him and email monkeyboycomic@hotmail.com tell him what you're thinking of doing and he'll come back with a very reasonable rate. Can't wait for the color, still in the works. Keep checking his blog. He posts some pretty cool work he's been doing out there almost weekly. Thanks Brent! Jason P.S. Check out Shrap Nell just too cool

Here's another one Brent whipped up for me. My brother is having a baby boy, and in the ultrasound my new nephew had a boner, so this is going to be the shower gift I give him. Brother is a surgeon, sister is a cop. LOL. Man Brent your work is just too cool
