That's a very nice set, but as I've said in other threads, I just don't see the value in PSA 10s. I have a very nice PSA 9 set (okay, still missing ONE...4a if anyone has it?), but that is a fraction of the cost. Can you really tell the difference between a 9 and a 10, looking through a slab of plastic? Even if you "value" the 10s at $250 each for the commons and then $2,000 for the primes, that's only $32,000. So if you're into GEMs, maybe $40K...maybe...
But just like Seymourbarf said, I'll take the original art instead.

That’s really cool. $152k is bonkers, but it had to take years and thousands of dollars to complete. Yeah, it is a lot of money but I'm not sure it should be considered a "holy s**tter". If true OS1 gems are your thing, maybe this is worth it. But man, $152k? Look at that beautiful art collection Jimbo just posted. One piece from each of OS1 through OS16, and it cost only a fraction of the price. And it's 1/1 original art! I'd much rather have Jimbo's collection than that PSA set. Hell, I'd rather have Jimbo himself than that PSA set. Come on Jimbo, what do you say? You can live in my basement and do odd jobs for me. And I'll feed you whatever I can slide underneath the basement door! Mostly pizzas and pancakes I would imagine. If my wife ever finds out how much I spent on that OS1 I may have to take you up on this offer.

And BTW, just read the description. Dude is offering up a night at the Ritz Carlton in Santa Barbara if you purchase the set and pick it up in person. He better be careful. I could do some damage at the hotel bar in a Ritz Carlton.

that's high, some bidding war! now I remember that auction, the bidding activity made me flag it red. its looks like a psa 9 to me. reminds me of a bidding war i got into back a couple years ago, for a EE PSA-10 glossy. the guy paid $6,770 or more, shot himself in the foot and sold it to me at a lose of $3800, and kept his existing EE psa-10

I looked at that Nick again and it looks like there is a scratch/scuff mark on the back of the slab, above the card. That's another issue with graded cards - you have to look both the condition of the card AND the holder. Very risky spending big bucks and buying online without getting a close look at the case too.

It's been relisted at $39k and change. When it doesn't sell the first time around, double the price. I will never understand sellers listing things ridiculously high, then listing them higher when they don't sell.

Mark it up 100% and eventually give a 90% discount.

No, and I was looking at that last night wondering exactly which boxes these came from. If they even came from boxes at all. They're definitely weird.

Looks like OS stickers stuck on crappy cardboard. Or maybe the GPK poster characters cut up and glued to cardboard. Regardless....

Looks like the card has wiggle room in that slab. Probably trimmed.

Damn, OS1 artwork is barely worth that much. I guess this seller just wants to show this off on ebay and isn’t serious about selling.
