Nocturnus: Check for a sweet update from me between 1am and 2am tonight. Apr 24, 2014 15:54:31 GMT -5
Nocturnus: Probably a ton of money. Seeing as a loose, ungraded set goes for around $1000. Apr 24, 2014 14:50:11 GMT -5
Dirty dog: Noc, I was looking at the MA registry and the #3 set was to be sold this month. Did you see it? Doesn't look like they put it on ebay. 8.32 GPA compared to the #1 set which is a 8.66. Can't imagine how much it sold for. Apr 24, 2014 14:04:12 GMT -5
Dirty dog: Once you get outside OS2 you better be pulling 10's :) Apr 24, 2014 13:47:00 GMT -5
Dirty dog: Agreed, much more fun to put your own set together. Could make sense that a lot of the MA is already graded. I mean even if you get a PSA 2 or 3, the card is still worth the more than the grading fees. Try that with a GPK. Apr 24, 2014 13:46:10 GMT -5
Nocturnus: Makes sense. I mean it was over 50 years ago. Apr 24, 2014 13:35:11 GMT -5
Sobot: I read once that soon anything from the 60's will be hard to find ungraded. Mostly they will be graded to preserve the item, and to give the buyer a garaunty what they are buying is legit. Apr 24, 2014 13:24:45 GMT -5
Nocturnus: There are a few complete sets on ebay for sale. I thought it would be funner to build one myself. It has been fun but expensive. I want to finish it really quickly but that would mean putting bills off. Can't do that. Apr 24, 2014 13:14:04 GMT -5
Dirty dog: Well I don't think people have been grading GPK near as long as MA probably has. Maybe MA has a bigger fan base? I don't know much about MA at all. I read the 62's got pulled from the shelves pretty quickly from that article I mentioned. Need to find it! Apr 24, 2014 13:07:47 GMT -5
Nocturnus: I have bids on 3 cards ending today and one that ends in a few days. Good thing I get paid tomorrow. Apr 24, 2014 12:46:41 GMT -5
Nocturnus: 17 cards left, Dead Rising 3 sold. Apr 24, 2014 12:46:04 GMT -5
Nocturnus: Maybe I am looking at it wrong though. Maybe a set from 1962 is more likely to be graded than a set from 1985 Apr 24, 2014 12:21:15 GMT -5
Nocturnus: A set from 1962 I would think would be rarer than one from 1985. Apr 24, 2014 12:20:49 GMT -5
Nocturnus: Odd that there are more sets from a rarer set on there. Apr 24, 2014 12:20:14 GMT -5
Dirty dog: Should clarify, 16 master sets (variation). There's also 13 basic sets but a lot of those are the same sets. i.e. I have mine registered in both but they are the same cards Apr 24, 2014 12:02:59 GMT -5
Nocturnus: Anybody at the ugcon right now? Apr 24, 2014 11:51:56 GMT -5
Nocturnus: or 1 MA card I need, lol Apr 24, 2014 11:47:10 GMT -5
Nocturnus: $30 shipped Apr 24, 2014 11:46:56 GMT -5
